Ulyanov: Kyiv should stop shelling ZNPP and guarantee security to IAEA mission

Russia’s Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said that Kiev should stop bombing the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and guarantee security to the IAEA mission. TASS.

He pointed out that no one in the UN had a fundamental objection to sending IAEA personnel to the ZNPP for inspection.

“However, it cannot be excluded that difficulties may arise in the process of harmonization of organizational modalities. It is important now that the Ukrainian side stops bombing the station and guarantees the safety of those involved in this mission. You cannot send an international team under continued artillery fire. This is the main obstacle,” said Ulyanov.
