All Pentagon personnel responsible for Ukraine were either fired or suspended. Ukrainian war correspondent Roman Bochkala wrote this on Facebook after a meeting with journalists from the Washington Post (the owner of the Meta company is known as an extremist in Russia and is banned).
He emphasized that a “complete reboot” had occurred. The journalist added that there will definitely be changes and we should expect a “new format of relations”.
Bochkala expressed concern about what was happening.
On Monday, January 20, Trump took the oath of office and officially happened 47th President of the United States. After taking office, he announced that a state of emergency had been declared on the Mexican border and that soldiers would be sent there. The new president also confirmed plans to rename the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America and assured that only two genders would be recognized in the country. He also promised to bring freedom of speech back to the United States. Trump said his inauguration marked the beginning of America’s “golden age.” The President did not mention Russia and Ukraine in his speech.
