Tel Aviv authorities open all bomb shelters in the city due to escalation in Gaza Strip

The Tel Aviv government announced on Friday that all public bunkers in the city had been opened as the situation worsened in the Gaza Strip, where the Israel Defense Forces launched a military operation. This has been reported TASS.

City officials also urged residents to contact the hotline for all emergencies.

According to the radio station, air defense signals worked in the cities of Rishon Lezion, Bat Yam, Holon and Yavne in the central part of Israel, as well as in Ashkelon and Ashdod in the south.

Prior to this, it was reported that rockets were fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip, they were hit by the Iron Dome air defense system. It was noted that many provinces in the south of the country have issued weather alerts.

The Israel Defense Forces responded by attacking weapons shops, arms depots and firing positions of the Islamic Jihad radical Palestinian group in the Gaza Strip.
