They then applied electric shocks until the man’s pulse returned to normal, and two more agents from Mossos d’Esquadra participated in resuscitation maneuvers until toilets arrived from the Emergency Medical System (SEM).
The victim of the heart attack was promptly successfully operated on in a hospital, and two days later the medical center reported to the district police that he would apparently not experience any sequelae of cardiorespiratory arrest.
