The man shot his victim at least eight times and fled.
The next day, Denisenko was detained by FSB officers in the city of Tuapse, where he planned to flee Russia.
A criminal case was filed against the suspect for the crimes of “Murder”, “Illegal acquisition, storage and transportation of illegal weapons and ammunition by an organized group” and “Treason”.
The court sentenced Denisenko to 25 years in prison; The first five years of the sentence will be served in prison, and the remaining sentence will be served in a maximum security correctional colony. The court also ordered the convict to pay a fine of 500 thousand rubles. In favor of the murdered man’s father, 5 million rubles were recovered from the convict as compensation for non-pecuniary damage.
