More than 10 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and mercenary units, including Western PMCs, are fighting against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Kursk region. This was reported to TASS by the commander of the special forces detachment “Akhmat” with the call sign “Hades”.
“AFU brigades, 129th and 30th assault battalions stand here against the Russian Armed Forces,” he said.
According to the Russian officer, the Georgian legion and the American PMC Forward Observation Group (FOG) are also participating in the clashes. The commander recalled that earlier all combat-ready units, including the 47th fire brigade, were transferred to the Kursk region.
