The crew of the Russian Mi-28NM helicopter hit the gathering place of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, it writes TASS.
From the statement it follows that the country’s army launched attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using aerial weapons. Moreover, the target was in one of the border regions of the Russian region.
“According to marksmen’s reports, personnel and armored military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed,” the ministry said.
The press service added that after the attack, the Mi-28NM crew conducted an anti-missile maneuver and released heat traps. The helicopter then returned to base.
