Leontyev stated that as a result of the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the roadbed at the entrance of the hydroelectric power plant was damaged, and there was no destruction on Novaya Kakhovka itself.

According to him, despite the large number of civilian vehicles crossing the bridge on the dam, Ukrainian troops deliberately struck the HEPP area.

Previously, regional authorities have repeatedly reported attacks on the Kakhovskaya HEPP of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
