Daily soap operas are the new target of broadcast platforms: from ‘Regreso a las Sabinas’ to ‘The Promise’

Streaming platforms have been reclaiming some of the strategies of traditional television for some time now: fast-moving consumption, commercials, airing weekly episodes like prime-time fiction rather than broadcasting for premieres of programs that are successful on mainstream chains (‘Save Me’, ‘Yellow Humor’, ‘Operation Victory’, ‘Beijing Express’…), live broadcast of sports events such as the Olympic Games… But on Friday, October 11, they go one step further: Disney+ premieres ‘Return to the Sabines’, The first daily Spanish production series on a streaming platform.

Fiction starring Andrés Velencoso, Natalia Sánchez and Celia Freijeirois a soap opera with a love story (and an infidelity) as its axis, and starting with its first five episodes on Monday, October 14, Disney+ will offer a new episode every day starting Monday.
