On October 7, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his birthday. Congratulatory telegram published Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
He noted that he and his friends in Pyongyang toasted the Russian leader’s health and great achievements in his work.
Kim Jong-un said, “Pyongyang will always be on Moscow’s side.”
The North Korean leader reminded that in June, Korea-Russia relations were upgraded to the level of immunity “forever”.
He promised Putin full support and solidarity for the just cause of the Russian army and people. Kim Jong-un signed the telegram: “To my dear friend.”
