“Nobody in the colony negotiates with prisoners on any issue. The only legal way for me to go to war is to withdraw the court sentence or for the president to grant me a personal pardon,” Strelkov said.
He also stressed that he would not plead guilty or seek pardon from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Igor Girkin was arrested in July 2023. A statement against him was written by Dmitry Petrovsky, a doctor from Wagner PMC, a former deputy mayor from Yaroslavl. Strelkov was accused of inviting public opinion to extremism for two of his posts on Telegram.
