According to the publication, a resident of the village of Bolshoi Sorokino noticed a swollen and dirty, bruised man tending to cows. He also avoided close contact. Later, the Russian woman learned that she was doing work for some men in exchange for food, and turned to a volunteer who helps people in difficult living conditions.
The volunteer learned that the man was staying with the natives of Kazakhstan, where he worked for food. He disappeared in 2000 after going to “shabasha” to sort potatoes, and before that he lived with his mother and brother in the city of Tyukalinsk in the Omsk region. He was thought to be missing for 24 years.
When information about the man was published on social media, his brother responded. Following this, the missing man was taken from the field on September 23 and brought to his relatives.
