IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi made a statement on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, calling for a permanent dialogue between the organization and Russia, allowing for the exchange of information on the situation at the Zaporozhye and Kursk nuclear power plants. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“In the context of the conflict, we are in a constant process of communication and exchange of information on the situation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and, more recently, in Kursk,” Grossi said.
He stressed that dialogue with the Russian Federation “is necessary and will continue.”
On September 10, the head of the IAEA discussed The situation at the Zaporozhye and Kursk nuclear power plants with US representatives. The meeting took place in Vienna and was attended by Richard Verma, Undersecretary of State for Management and Resources.
