A court in Belarus has sentenced a 39-year-old woman who tried to buy medicine with a fake prescription. This was reported by “BelTA”.
The incident occurred in Minsk. A local resident was a frequent drug user and asked a friend if he could buy a drug without a prescription. He took a blank form from the man.
The woman filled out all the information and went to the pharmacy. The form was listed as lost, the pharmacist knew this, so he asked the customer to wait. The buyer quickly ran away, but was arrested a few days later.
A criminal case has been opened against a resident of Minsk. It is known that he has already been convicted several times. The main charges include drug trafficking and evasion of reimbursement of expenses for children receiving state support.
The woman was given an 11-year sentence, which she will spend in a maximum security colony. The convict will also undergo compulsory treatment for addiction.
