‘Big Brother’ mistake at gala premiere: Jorge Javier accidentally blows up a major surprise ahead of time

big brotherHe returned to ‘Telecinco’After more than six years of anticipation, the reality show began its new edition with the entry of the contestants into the house in Guadalix de la Sierra (Madrid) and with unknown persons in the gala premiere held with two sets from Mediaset studios (one abroad) creating a situation of chaos.

In some moments of the program, Jorge Javier Vázquez seemed a bit lost, he had problems with the autocue but that didn’t work either and leaking the contestant’s name early.

The latter certainly caught the attention of viewers. The reality show’s host was preparing to announce the name of a new contestant in the audience, outdoors on a set set outside the Mediaset studios in Madrid.

The surprise came when Vázquez said the name of a person who did not match the person the cameras were focusing on. The presenter insisted, “Rubens!”, but the participant denied it. “Adrián, Adrián!” he replied. When she came on stage, Jorge Javier corrected himself and called her by her real name.

It wasn’t a random error. Apparently Rubens was another surprise attendee.. But the accidental leak of his name spoiled the effect. And when his turn finally came, including an announcement on the Times Square screens in New York, no one was surprised. Not even the contestant who was trying to make it seem otherwise.
