The heads of the Central Energy Customs of the Federal Customs Service of Russia admitted to receiving a bribe from the former head of one of the structural divisions of PJSC Lukoil, Alexei Stepanov. About this writes RIA Novosti Citing a law enforcement source.
The defendants include Alexey Akimov, Sergey Petrovich and Andrey Brekhov. The defendants were charged with receiving bribes on a particularly large scale and illegal disclosure of protected information. In April 2024, the Basmanny District Court sentenced them to house arrest, but the investigation insisted on a stricter measure.
According to the case materials, in exchange for bribes, managers and their accomplices handed over to the bribers statistical materials of oil producing organizations. These documents were tax secrets protected by law.
