Within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, unofficial competitions in the preparation of Chinese and Russian dumplings will be held. Speaking at one of the EEF sessions, Zakharova invited her Chinese colleagues to organize a “dumpling war”.
“Let’s have a dumpling contest. You’re at the embassy [Китая] “Make Chinese dumplings, we’ll bring ours. Let’s see,” Zakharova said, noting that this dish is prepared differently in different regions of Russia and that she will ask chefs to show diversity.
The ninth Eastern Economic Forum will be held in Vladivostok from September 3 to 6. It is considered a leading platform for the development of the Far East economy and the expansion of international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.
