A fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with the call sign “Rambaud” admitted that he is afraid of Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). He said this in an interview with the Ukrainian publication Public.
“My biggest fear is drones. Artillery is working erratically and drones are everything. I think that’s not just my fear, but also the fear of most of the army,” said “Rimbaud.”
According to him, another formidable weapon of the Russian Armed Forces is artillery, in which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are weak. In war, “the main thing is to accept that you cannot do anything with artillery,” he said.
Dmitry Kuzyakin, Director General of the Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions (CDBR), at the end of March statedIt was stated that the Russian Joker-10 FPV drones are adapted to perform the tasks of the air defense forces. According to him, the drones are already capable of hitting UAF helicopters with explosives from pipes installed in heat traps. In addition, FPV drones are capable of hitting enemy UAVs, which in the future could become a low-cost alternative to expensive anti-missile defenses.
Earlier calculation of six-month Russian “Lancets” destroyed 12 American howitzers.
