At least twice a week, Russian soldiers prevent small landing groups of Ukrainian troops from crossing the Dnieper. TASS said the deputy battalion commander for military-political work with the call sign “Plombir”.
According to him, in the battalion’s area of responsibility, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) try to cross the river twice a week. Their attempts are detected and stopped.
“Plombir” noted that there are no large enemy forces on the right bank of the Dnieper. Due to the decline in their morale, the threat of a successful crossing of the river by Ukrainian troops has disappeared. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are experiencing serious shortages of supplies and food in this area. All this has led to a decrease in the density of Ukrainian troops crossing by boats, “Plombir” said.
Previously, the Russian army dismantled An attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to cross the Dnieper towards Kinburn Spit using about 20 landing boats.
Previously, the Russian army destroyed Two boats carrying Ukrainian troops.
