According to law enforcement officials, a 10-year-old girl was playing a popular online game when she was contacted by unknown persons in one of the chats. During the correspondence, the scammers convinced the girl to get her parents’ phone numbers, telling her to do it secretly.
On the instructions of the criminals, the child took photos of her parents’ banking applications and sent them to the scammers. Knowing the password to the phone, the girl entered the banking application and transferred 848 thousand rubles.
