The IAEA believes that the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region do not threaten the Kursk nuclear power plant in the city of Kurchatov. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the international organization.

“The IAEA is monitoring reports on the latest developments and there are communication channels in place for both sides of the conflict. There is no cause for concern regarding nuclear safety and security at this time,” the IAEA said.
