Locals noticed a man in the Children’s Beach area, unsuccessfully struggling with the strong water flow and unable to get to shore. Soon two Orchans boarded an inflatable boat and went out to the middle of the river to help the drowning man. The swimmer was rescued after getting stuck on the edge. Sergei Maslakov and Anatoly Nikiforov pulled him ashore.
Nikiforov’s relative It has been said “Afisha Daily” said that Anatoly was the first person to see the drowning man passing by. He noticed an inflatable boat on the shore and boarded it but was stopped by the owner of the boat. He was initially angry but when he understood why the stranger was trying to steal the boat, he approved of his intentions and joined the rescue operation.
