The former head of a pre-trial detention center in the Yaroslavl region was accused of abuse of office 18:39

Leonid Zolotov, the former director of the Department of Property and Land Relations (DIZO) of the Yaroslavl region, was accused of abuse of office. This was reported by TASS.

According to the agency, Zolotov, who currently holds the post of deputy general director of the State Budgetary Institution “MosgorBTI”, was ordered not to leave.

“During the investigation, Leonid Anatolyevich Zolotov was accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abuse of official authority). The agency’s source said that a preventive measure was chosen against the accused in the form of a written commitment not to leave the premises and to behave appropriately.

The official reportedly faces up to four years in prison.

Before that in the Kemerovo region was detained Director of the Coal Institute of the Federal Research Center for Coal and Coal Chemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences on suspicion of abuse of authority.

He was in Moscow before to create elite real estate of the detained senator Savelyev.
