Deputies of the State Duma adopted in the second and third readings a new version of the bill regulating the procedure for disciplinary arrest of military personnel participating in a special military operation (SVO). On this reported in the press service of the lower house of parliament.
According to the document, military personnel will not be arrested if the equipment is used to perform combat missions.
The bill will also allow commanders to impose disciplinary arrests on their subordinates. The duration will be up to 10 days and the reasons may be “serious disciplinary offenses.” These include the use of “domestic equipment” in the service, which can store or allow the use of information and telecommunications networks Internet to distribute or provide audio, photo, video materials and geolocation data.
