An Israeli warplane attacked a base of a Hezbollah unit in southern Lebanon, the news portal reports Lebanon 24.
The strike hit the town of Markaba in southern Lebanon. A drone fired a missile at a building housing the headquarters and barracks. The impact caused the shop to burst into flames, but there were no casualties.
Previously, some airlines from various countries suspended flights to Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut due to fears of possible attacks by the Israeli air force.
On October 19, the Israeli army announced that it had opened fire on the country’s border areas from Lebanese territory. Tensions reached pre-war levels on July 27 after Hezbollah shot children in the village of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights. The missiles were fired from Lebanese territory.
