According to investigators, while in Tajikistan, the man met a ten-year-old resident of the Arkhangelsk region. The girl trusted her new acquaintance and responded to his messages, even when he touched on personal topics.
After a while, the stranger started to blackmail the boy and started to take photos of him without clothes. The defendant also corresponded with a 10-year-old boy to whom he also sent these photos.
The man was found in a short time. It turned out that in 2022 he had already attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison for foreign harassment. He later lived in the Moscow region.
“By the court’s decision, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison to be served in a high-security correctional colony,” the publication said.
The man will also pay more than 500 thousand rubles to the victims. So far, the decision has not come into force.
