The State Duma also voted to introduce an amendment, according to which it would be considered a grave abuse if servicemen of the Northern Military District violated the ban on providing media and distributing information on the Internet that could determine whether military personnel belong to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Also the State Duma voted Regulation regarding the ability of unit commanders, heads of military police organizations or garrison commanders to impose disciplinary punishment on military personnel serving in military service.
