The head of the Ministry of Defense told reporters that he would build special armored hangars to house fighter jets. According to Kots, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repeatedly tried to attack aircraft at airports with missiles.
The journalist wrote that on July 19, Belousov assured him that a program for airfields had already been drawn up and that shelters would certainly be built.
The minister spoke mostly about the measures taken after the previous meeting with military officials. A 21-item list of instructions has been drawn up at the moment and will be added later. Kots described the meeting with Belousov as “as open and frank as possible.”
