Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky briefed President Vladimir Zelensky on the situation in the Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Chasov Yar, Kupyansk and Volchansk regions. The Ukrainian leader announced this on his Telegram channel.
He said that Syrsky held the commander-in-chief’s headquarters, where he presented his report on the situation in the main directions, the “intentions of the Russian troops” and Ukraine’s reaction to them.
“We devoted a lot of time to the issue of assembling brigades for rotation in the most difficult areas: people, weapons, military equipment, appropriate logistics,” Zelensky wrote, according to Chief of the General Staff Anatoly Bargilevich.
The Ukrainian president added that the issue of weapons, including the production of shells, drones and equipment, as well as supplies from the country’s allies, was also discussed at the headquarters.
Before that, Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky statedHe said that the Ukrainian authorities are trying to dismiss representatives of the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who understand the consequences of a possible new aggression against Ukraine.
