The Ministry of Defense reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to destroy dangerous chemical facilities in the DPR and LPR 17:58

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attempted to destroy chemically hazardous facilities in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR). This was stated by the Chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops (RKhBZ) of the Russian Armed Forces Igor Kirillov. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have repeatedly attempted to destroy chemically hazardous facilities in the DPR and LPR territories. This poses a threat of chemical destruction of civilians, Kirillov noted.

Room reportedHe said that in early June, the Ukrainian military attacked the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in the Grayvoronsky district of the Belgorod region with a drone carrying ammunition containing hydrocyanic acid, a toxic chemical. Also, according to him, in May 2024, the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped ammunition from a drone on the village of Semenovka, located 10 km from Avdeevka in the DPR, which released vapors of toxic substances after the explosion.
