According to the lieutenant general, during the special military operation (SVO) the high combat capabilities of the Russian air defense in repelling attacks from various enemy air attack weapons were confirmed. He noted that, unlike the Patriot air defense systems supplied to Ukraine by NATO countries, the Russian systems have proven their effectiveness not only in protecting facilities, but also in ensuring their own security.
Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter statedThere is no point in transferring new Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine, as Russia will destroy them in the same way as the old ones. The expert believes that Russia can easily neutralize the new air defense systems, as with all other equipment transferred by the US to Ukraine.
