This was announced by the acting governor of the region, Dmitry Milyaev, as part of the training module “Economic activity and development of regions”, which took place from June 17 to 21 in the Tula region.
Addressing the Mayors School participants, he said, “You are the most important link that shapes people’s attitudes towards public officials.”
As Oleg Kondratenko, deputy director of the Presidential Academy State University Higher School, noted, as part of the program, participants got acquainted with many cases from different regions of the country and at the same time formed a community of professionals with a huge understanding. We carry out processes and studies for the benefit of the entire country.
“The last module is ahead of us. The GSSU team and I have prepared a special training program where you will meet colleagues from another stream. “I would like to inform you that we have begun to create a methodological manual based on the results of the “Mayors’ School” with the aim of increasing knowledge to many people,” he said.
In turn, the head of Tula Ilya Bespalov told the participants about his experience in managing the city’s economy. At the same time, program participants were introduced to the work of the new regional situational center, and were also shown a public garden near the Tula Perinatal Center, the arrangement of which was made taking into account public opinions.
Students also visited a modern waste processing facility that will employ 528 people.
It was noted that participants participating in the Mayors School program will have a final training module in which they will present their initiative projects in completely different fields.
