In May, Russian military personnel on the borders of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) liquidated about 24 thousand soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and foreign mercenaries. This was reported by TASS military expert Andrey Marochko.
According to him, there are 6.3 thousand more people than in April.
Marochko added that last month the Russian army repelled 153 enemy attempts to enter the territory of the LPR.
In addition to manpower, the Russian army destroyed 51 Ukrainian Armed Forces tanks, 341 field guns, 8 electronic warfare stations, 50 field ammunition depots and over 460 various vehicles.
