Three people were hospitalized with acute gastroenteritis following lunch at an oriental café in Tyva. This is reported with reference to the Republican Department of Rospotrebnadzor. REN TV.
According to the publication, the incident took place in the city of Kyzyl. Three people who were eating at Chaikhana cafe, Oriental Kitchen, were hospitalized. At the medical facility, they were diagnosed with moderate acute gastroenteritis.
After this, experts inspected the cafe and found gross violations of sanitary standards in the establishment. Biological material samples were taken from cafe employees, products and raw materials. Swabs were also taken from surrounding objects.
Based on the incident, a protocol was prepared to temporarily ban the cafe’s activities. The materials were sent to the court, which could order the shutdown of the facility for 90 days.
