The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation put the former head of the National Bank of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv and the former Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander Shlapak on the wanted list. This was reported by TASS referring to the department’s search database.
According to the Investigative Committee of Russia, they decided to launch the so-called “anti-terrorist operation” (ATO) in Donbass and financed it from the state budget. Now the ministry is taking measures to detain and arrest Ukrainian officials.
Kubiv served as chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine from February 24 to June 19, 2014. Shlapak served as Minister of Finance from February 27 to December 2, 2014.

Ministry of Internal Affairs on the same day announced Pavel Petrenko, former Minister of Justice of Ukraine and former member of the National Security and Defense Council, is wanted on criminal charges.
