At least two policemen were injured this monday night a new shot during the fireworks display 4th of July celebration for Independence Day in Philadelphia, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
US authorities announced that a police officer was wounded in the head and another agent, a member of the Montgomery County bomb squad, was shot in the right shoulder, the local CBC Philly channel reported.
The attack took place in the 2,500 block of ‘Spring Garden’ street, around 21:45 local time. Both officers were taken to Jefferson University Hospital in stable condition, according to law enforcement sources.
A large crowd gathered to enjoy a concert and fireworks display on the ‘Party on the Parkway’ fled the venue as police quickly evacuated the area. for now, no arrests reported and Police did not clarify the reasons for what happened.
