The Estonian Ministry of Defense has been trying for several months to find a replacement for the American-made NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system from Spain.
This was stated by Kalle Kirss, head of the NATO and EU department at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic. His words guide the way MISTAKE.
He explained that we are talking about the NASAMS complex, which was removed from Estonia by Spain at the end of 2023.
According to him, Estonian officials expect NATO allies to agree to deploy their air defense systems in Estonia.
Kirss added that NASAMS systems in Estonia could be replaced with Patriot air defense systems in the future.
