A working group of the Finnish government evaluated the Defense Cooperation Agreement (DCA) with the United States. According to group members, the document will limit Finland’s sovereignty TASS With reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic.
The working group evaluated aspects of the agreement, such as the entry and movement of American troops into Finland and access of foreign military personnel to Defense Forces facilities and areas provided for joint work.
On Thursday, March 28, the Finnish government released the text of the message for public comment. It is stated that the adoption of the document will require the vote of a two-thirds majority of MPs.
