The press service of the Institute of Nuclear Physics (INP) SB RAS emphasized that CERN’s decision to refuse cooperation with Russia was political.
“This decision will negatively affect the scientific research of both CERN and the scientific institutes of the Russian Federation. The process of transferring cases from different CERN member countries to our colleagues is currently ongoing and is expected to be completed by November 2024. The issue of further cooperation is not discussed,” noted the press service of the BINP SB RAS.
