Leonid, the grandson of Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov, told socialbites.ca that he was admitted to a Moscow hospital with coronavirus. The politician explained that he had been self-medicating for about a week, but had to consult specialists due to his poor health.
“Actually, I am currently in city clinical hospital number 52. Covid. Confirmed on Friday, unfortunately my body can’t handle it. The last time I self-medicated for two weeks was in hospital number 52. History repeats itself. Therefore, our citizens do not need to self-medicate. You need to go to the ambulance, consult doctors, everything will be fine,” said Zyuganov.
On February 16, the Mash Telegram channel reported that Moscow City Duma deputy Leonid Zyuganov was urgently hospitalized in Moscow due to coronavirus. On February 14, the politician called an ambulance to his home. He complained to doctors about weakness, runny nose, cough and body aches. Doctors decided to take Leonid to the hospital. According to the channel’s news, he underwent the necessary examinations and a rapid Covid test was performed and the result was positive.
