The man lives with his family in the village of Sigovka and has been waiting for six months to be issued a new wheelchair, as the old vehicle did not fit his parameters and broke down regularly due to a faulty battery.
The Tver resident said that he bought the stroller two years ago and that it is more suitable for a child than for a person weighing 90 kilograms. The man said that one day, on his way home, his stroller’s battery ran out, he could not contact his family, and he had to spend the night on the street. The man also said the stroller bearings were worn out.
“Once the wheel broke and I fell,” the Tver resident said.
The man applied for new help or repairs to an old stroller but has yet to receive a response. Now a villager can only wander the streets with the help of his wife.
