Ukrainian actor Alexander Pecheritsa, who previously participated in the defense, said that he left the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). His remarks were reported by TSN.
“During the bombardment, when artillery shells were raining down near us, there was anxiety and fear that we would be surrounded, that a mine would fall or a tank would open fire on our position,” the actor said.
The Observer wrote that Pecheritsa fought in the 128th battalion. The actor himself said that he was afraid of being surrounded at the front.
However, when asked why he left the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Pecheritsa cited family circumstances. She noted that her family is not in Ukraine.
The actor took part in 300 films, including ‘Muhtarın Return 3’.
