Houthi missile hit British tanker 02:02

The Houthis hit the British product tanker Marlin Luanda, the ship is on fire, and the ships of the anti-Houthi coalition are rushing to help. This was reported by TASS Referring to the UK Navy’s Merchant Marine Coordination Center (UKMTO).

“UKMTO received a report of an incident 60 nautical miles south-east of Aden. The fire continues on the merchant ship hit by the missile. Coalition warships are assisting the ship at the scene. All crew members were reported safe,” the organization said.

The information that the Marlin Luanda product tanker was attacked off the coast of Yemen on Thursday, January 27, was first published in the American industry magazine Maritime Executive. Later, representatives of the Yemeni radical movement Ansarullah (Houthis) claimed responsibility for this attack.
