Falkov noted that the division of the master’s program will allow future specialists to obtain the knowledge they need. A professional master’s program will help students gain in-depth knowledge in their field of activity, and a research master’s program will give them the opportunity to subsequently engage in science.
The Minister also emphasized that admission to a master’s program cannot be reduced to just obtaining a diploma. As the head of the department said, the main goal of education should be to acquire additional knowledge.
“Master’s degree programs should only be opened in universities that have the necessary personnel and infrastructure facilities. “This is especially important for natural sciences and engineering specialties and fields,” he added.
