Political scientist predicted that Russian nuclear technologies will spread further abroad 18:51

The spread of Russian nuclear energy abroad cannot be limited even by the endless attempts of the West to limit the growth of the economic influence of the Russian Federation. Founder of the Center for International Interaction and Cooperation, member of the Digoria expert club, political scientist Alexei Malinin. he told socialbites.ca.

According to the expert, the countries of the Global South, especially Egypt, the largest country in Africa and a new member of BRICS, understand that Russia is a leader in many areas, including in the field of nuclear energy.

“This is also indicated by the fact that the nuclear energy industry of the Russian Federation is still not under EU sanctions, contrary to the wishes of many European and Ukrainian officials,” Alexey Malinin said.

The political scientist emphasized: Russian nuclear technologies are in demand all over the world. He called Rosatom, which has one of the engines of progress in this field.

“The spread of Russian nuclear technologies abroad will continue; Nuclear technologies are an extremely popular element of the development of many countries. And this is recognized, including by NATO countries,” the expert said.

Malinin believes that the West cannot isolate Russia from the world. He pointed out that the countries of the Global South and the Middle East continue to have constructive relations with the Russian Federation.

“The start of construction of the Al-Dabaa power plant is the flagship project of Russian-Egyptian energy cooperation and a continuation of the right path followed by Russian President Vladimir Putin,” the political scientist said.

On January 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi attended the ceremony held via video conference to mark the start of pouring concrete on the foundation of power unit number 4 of the Egyptian El-Dabaa nuclear power plant.
