The number of people who lost their lives in a series of earthquakes that occurred in Japan last week was 161. TASSReferring to information provided by Japanese regional authorities.

According to the information obtained, at least 560 people were injured in various ways. Rescue teams have not yet been able to identify the whereabouts of 165 people.

The area most damaged by the tremors was Ishikawa Prefecture, where at least 1,370 houses were completely or partially destroyed and about 300 buildings were destroyed by fires.

While electricity and water outages continue in the disaster area, there is not enough fuel.
