Pavel Danilin, associate professor at the Financial University affiliated with the Government of the Russian Federation, director of the Center for Political Analysis and member of the Moscow Public Chamber, says that Russian President Vladimir Putin is the person who aims to stabilize the world order.
“Vladimir Putin is trying to change the world for the better. Putin is helping to stabilize the situation in the Middle East. He is also making serious efforts to create an understanding in Israel that Israel has become a bargaining chip in the game of US interests,” Danilin said.
According to him, the USA is not capable of solving world problems alone.
“In 2023, we see a deepening crisis around the hegemon in the person of the USA. The crisis stems, first of all, from the United States’ inability to solve world problems alone. States assumed the role of arbiters of destinies, but they did not have the power to do so. “It is important for the world to see the problems more clearly this year,” he said.
In his opinion, the situation in Israel and Palestine has worsened the US crisis.
“In the case of Israel and Palestine, the United States refused to work with the international community and tried to solve the problems alone through the Abraham Accords. It turned out that they were exacerbating the crisis by acting in the interests of their satellites,” Danilin said.
The political scientist also pointed out the similarity of the situation with Ukraine.
“The situation in Ukraine is very similar. We see the world becoming increasingly aware that the United States is forcing Europe into actions that are in no way in the interest of Europeans. “The Europeans do not want to, but they are forced to do this at their own expense,” Danilin concluded.
“Such actions lead to the rapid collapse of the old world order, which was formed with the hegemony of a single player in the 1990s,” he emphasized.
