As a result of the study involving 55 volunteers, American scientists determined that the inability to exercise after Covid-19 occurred due to the deterioration in oxygen absorption of body tissues. Despite the absence of heart problems and adequate blood oxygen saturation, the body tissues of most test subjects were unable to use it.
It is stated that when people complain of physical weakness, doctors often advise patients to move more and do fitness. However, for some people it is not possible to follow these instructions. Drugs that treat muscle weakness, especially those containing pyridostigmine, may improve well-being, the study authors note.
