“Ka-52M can be defined as helicopters, machines that can hit more distant targets and ensure the safety of personnel,” Sukonkin told reporters.

The expert said that the helicopters are equipped with lightweight multi-purpose guided missiles (LMUR) “Izdeliye 305”, capable of developing speeds of up to 230 m/s, hitting both stationary and moving targets from a distance of up to 14.5 meters. km. The large amount of explosives with which LMURs are loaded allows them to effectively destroy large objects such as command centers and barracks.

The Ka-52M has, among other features, an advanced optical-electronic station and thermal imaging channel that allow helicopters to see farther and more clearly. At the same time, the vehicles themselves are equipped with upgraded armor that protects them from heat-seeking missiles.
