China’s Zhuque 2 Y-3 launch vehicle, powered by the world’s first oxygen-methane engine, successfully launched three satellites into orbit. This has been reported Web site private development company LandSpace.
The launch took place at 02:39 Moscow time from the Jiuquan Cosmodrome. The rocket launched three satellites into orbit: HongHu, TianYi-33 and HongHu-2.
This launch was the third launch of the Zhuque 2 rocket, which operates on a mixture of liquid oxygen and methane. The developers stated that it can launch various cargoes weighing up to four tons into orbit.
China at the end of October started carried the manned spacecraft to the orbital station. A two-stage CZ-2F/G launch vehicle was used to carry the spacecraft into orbit.
About 15 minutes later, the Human Space Flight Program Office of the People’s Republic of China reported that the launch of the spacecraft was successful.
